    Preface: If this were a video game this economic system could get very complicated very fast. (Un)Fortunately it's a text-based-forum so things like inflation or supply and demand can't be factors.

    There many different ways of making money, yes the gold rewards from missions is nice but you know what's even better? Wise investment.

    An acre produces 2 copper a week.
    Logging produces in 2 copper a week.
    Mining produces in 2 copper a week.
    Harvesting produces 2 copper a week.
    Each of these can be made to produce an amount equal to half the value of Tier 1 or 2 Resources instead of copper.

     As stated above, half value Tier Resources is worth 2 copper and 10 Copper is worth 1 Silver, to simplify that.
    1 Copper = 125 T1 Resources or 1.25 T2 Resources or 0.125 T3 Resources or 0.0125 T4 Resources per week
    1 Silver = 1,250 T1 Resources or 12.5 T2 Resources or 1.25 T3 Resources or 0.125 T4 Resources per week
    1 Gold = 12,500 T1 Resources or 125 T2 Resources or 12.5 T3 Resources or 1.25 T4 Resources per week
    1 Platinum = 125,000 T1 Resources or 1250 T2 Resources or 125 T3 Resources or 12.5 T4 Resources

    T1: Grains, foodstuffs, clean water
    T2: Raw Ore, Raw Lumber, Raw stone
    T3: Quarried stone, ingots, boards, coins
    T4: Weapons, jewellery, statues

    Conversion rates:
    T1 : T2 = 100 : 1
    T2 : T3 = 10 : 1
    T3 : T4 = 10 : 1

    Villages and Cities can convert Resource types.
