    Backstory:
    This Adventuring Guild will be the third of its kind, the first was Pre-Coven Man's efforts to sate their sense of exploration, the second was an elitist society made of Humans and Hoher-Politiker that nearly wiped out all "monsters" to make things safer and thus allow humanity's population to grow to later be used when bringing the world to heel.
    I left my academy after being discredited, for faking research. It isn't that they knew it was faked, it's that it contradicted information my rival also faked, but the leadership took his side.
    There’s nothing I like more than a good mystery, learning about the unknown is how we grow as people. 
    Power, knowledge is the path to power and domination, all life recognizes power in one way or another, I must become the most powerful.
    I have an ancient text that holds terrible secrets that must not fall into the wrong hands, the consequences would be disastrous.  
    Unlocking an ancient mystery is worth the price of a civilization, the value of the Old Coven's understanding of magic and more conventional technologies cannot be understated.
